Individual Music Therapy
I accept self-referrals as well as referrals from families, medical professionals, social workers, schools, and other institutions.
I will offer:
- a free initial telephone consultation
- three assessment sessions (with a report if requested)
- a block of weekly therapy sessions for an agreed period of time with scheduled reviews and a collaborative ending.
Group Music Therapy
I offer group music therapy in settings such as schools and care homes.
Music Therapy groups will run for a specified length of time (at least 6 weeks) and will have defined therapeutic aims (e.g. to promote social confidence)
Training
I offer staff training in using music therapeutically, for example for teachers or care home staff.
Music is a wonderful way of making connections and boosting confidence - my training will provide a basic tool-kit for using musical elements such as pulse and melodic structure to promote regulation, communication and engagement.
Training can be tailored to suit your setting - from a one-off hour-long session to a course over a number of weeks.
Therapeutic Piano Teaching
I am a piano teacher with over 10 years experience. If you or your child would struggle to access conventional piano lessons due to additional needs, I can offer a flexible and creative approach that celebrates learning differences and neurodiverse ways of being.
